Westbrook Brewing of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., will be available in Upstate New York thanks to a partnership with craft exclusive distributor Remarkable Liquids. Westbrook will launch Dec. 16 throughout the Hudson Valley and Upstate New York with its year round cans: White Thai; IPA; and One Claw. Westbrook’s South East Asian inspired White Thai is a twist on a Belgian whitbier in which the traditional coriander and orange peel are replaced with lemongrass, ginger and Sorachi Ace hops. The One Claw is an American Pale Ale with the subtle complexity of malted rye. Ed Westbrook stakes his claim for the most balanced India Pale Ale in the market with his year round IPA.
“We are really excited to be working with a distributor that truly understands and believes in craft beer,” said Ed Westbrook, founder and chief executive officer. “Upstate New York is a surprisingly craft savvy market and we are happy to finally be there.”
The New Year will bring drafts of White Thai, IPA and One Claw as well as rotating seasonals. Spring will mark the return of Gose, a traditional German-style sour wheat brewed with salt and coriander.
