Starr Hill Brewery is expanding its distribution into Knoxville, Tenn., this month.
“Based on Starr Hill’s success in Central and Eastern Tennessee, we’re focused on satisfying the customers’ growing demand for quality craft beer in Knoxville,” said Brian McNelis, Starr Hill’s president and CEO. “We’re also encouraged to see the Volunteer State move on legislation that creates a more favorable climate in which craft breweries can prosper.”
Starr Hill’s lineup of beers available in Knoxville will be headlined by the successful Northern Lights IPA and Grateful Pale Ale. Its new spring release, Reviver Red IPA, will lead off Starr Hill’s seasonal offerings, followed by Soul Shine Belgian-Style Pale Ale, Boxcarr Pumpkin Porter, and Snow Blind Doppelbock Lager. Starr Hill will also offer its award-winning, limited release All Access Series with Little Red Roostarr Coffee Cream Stout, followed by King of Hop Imperial IPA, Whiter Shade of Pale White IPA, and Shakedown Imperial Chocolate Cherry Stout.
“We’re excited to introduce our robust portfolio of beers to Knoxville,” said Robbie O’Cain, Starr Hill’s Brewmaster. “Our team looks forward to any opportunity to win that tasting moment with new customers when they discover Starr Hill.”
Starr Hill will be distributed in Knoxville by Eagle Distributing Co. After an initial 60-day draft-only launch, Starr Hill will offer the same products to the Knoxville market in package.
“Starr Hill is one of the most successful, award-winning breweries on the East Coast,” said Jeremy Walker, craft manager at Eagle Distributing. “Starr Hill Brewery has been releasing world-class beers throughout its 16 years. The investments Starr Hill’s team has made to its facility and people will allow them to consistently bring great beer to the Knoxville market.”
