Wild Goose Canning–Meheen Mfg., a top U.S. designer and manufacturer of craft beverage canning and bottling systems, is adding two new executives to its leadership team. The positions support the company’s focus on innovation and comprehensive sales and customer service, ensuring new products and design advancements meet the needs of craft beverage producers. Let’s meet them!
Dan Welch joins Wild Goose–Meheen as vice president of sales and service. For the last 20 years, he has worked in the life science industry, including roles as a general manager for a $50M organization in Puerto Rico, as a vice president for category management and most recently as a vice president of sales, responsible for over $200M in revenue.
“Dan brings a wealth of knowledge in customer-facing roles with an emphasis on growth and the ability to execute on additional services our customers are requesting,” said Chris Fergen, CEO of Wild Goose–Meheen. Dan holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Paul Wells will serve as Wild Goose–Meheen’s senior director of engineering. Previously, he spent 13 years at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group directing project planning, design and execution for large-scale installations of manufacturing and packaging lines and other capital equipment. He led some of the company’s most complex, high-profile projects, including a $500M facility expansion for one of the world’s largest beverage manufacturers.
“Paul’s engineering, manufacturing and beverage industry knowledge along with his years of brewing experience will allow us to sustain and build on our technology leadership position,” said Fergen, “while driving innovation into complementary regions and markets.” Paul began his professional career at Krones AG, ultimately serving as R&D engineering project manager before going on to manage engineering manufacturing projects at Corning Inc., Roberts PolyPro Inc. and SWF (Thiele Technologies).
