“The great thing about beer is that it’s our weekends — it’s everything fun about life — and as brewers we get to bring that fun to the party.” That’s Mike Stevens, co-founder of Founders Brewing Co., giving the video intro to the brewery’s 20th anniversary party, which was October 14. Founders just released this mini movie of the celebration, which took place in their hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich. It included live music from the FBC All Stars, food trucks, special offerings from the Founders deli, lots of booze, good people and even an anniversary beer — Tank Bender — which is an ice box beer! Of course, you completely missed this incredible party with cool specialty beer, so this might feel like watching someone else’s vacation videos, but it should also be a stark reminder that maybe you shouldn’t be sitting around reading some dumb website when you could be out there crushing life with a craft beer.
