Triumph the Insult Comic Dog trolls the Great American Beer Festival

Craft brewers and beer enthusiasts tend to be a particular bunch. The passion that is brewed into every mash and poured into every glass shines through in conversations about notes of this hop and hints of that fruit. The craft beer industry also tends to be a down-to-earth group with a sense of humor. A sense of humor that came in handy when Conan O’Brien unleashed Triumph the Insult Comic Dog on the Great American Beer Festival. Robert Smigel’s raunchy comic creation takes aim at Dogfish Head, Selkirk Abbey Brewing and even the Brewers Association’s Paul Gatza.
