Craft brewers take note: Founders Brewing Co. makes maybe the best videos in the industry — from the camera angles, to the clarity, to the music cuts. They’re great marketing tools. This one almost made us cry in our beer.
Well, check out this latest Founders video release above. It’s just regular highlights from the second annual Firkin Freezeout, held on Feb. 7 in the brewing company’s outdoor beer garden, but it’s still somehow awesome. Even the opening groove from the skilled spitters called Convotronics is full of the utmost excellence. The Firkin Freezeout included 40-plus specialty firkins, grilled food, ice carving and lots more.
What’s a firkin, you ask? A firkin, which is derived from the Middle Dutch word vierdekijn (meaning fourth, duh), is actually a small barrel of beer that is one-fourth the size of a regular barrel of beer. Read all about it right over here.
