I know it’s the holiday season — not Valentine season — but Christmas and New Year’s is a popular time to propose. Once you propose, you might want to have a wedding. If you live near Milwaukee, I have a suggestion. Lakefront Brewery has free weddings and vow renewals on Valentine’s Day. They even have some cheap pay packages to make the experience even more memorable. Because nothing says love like a brewery wedding with a $300 growler package (I say that in all honesty). To the press release!
“We’ve added a few packages for couples who wish to make their experience even better on Thursday, February 14th,” said Tour Co-Manager, Dylan Marzurkiewicz. “Valentine’s Day weddings at Lakefront Brewery continue to grow in popularity.”

A unique flower bouquet will be provided for the bride, and each of you will walk out with exclusive “Just Married” T-shirt from the gift shop!
$300 Growler Package — You will be married with a beer in hand, with a personally-etched pint glass with your names and the date, by one of the brewery’s tour guide officiants. Lakefront will provide six practiced and ordained tour-guide officiants who are prepared to marry any and all on Valentine’s Day. Weddings are being booked now for Valentine’s from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Two areas in the brewery will be decorated for the ceremonies including Bernie Brewer’s chalet. Two mass vow renewals will also take place in the Beer Hall at 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Both will be presided over by Lakefront Brewery Owner and President Russ Klisch.
“Marriage applications take a minimum of 1 week to be processed, so please plan accordingly. We cannot perform ceremonies without a proper marriage license,” said Tour Co-Manager,Mike Walker. He added, “Any state license is valid in Milwaukee County. Please use Lakefront Brewery’s address, phone number, and the name ‘Josh Barto’ as your officiant when filling out your marriage application. We are not responsible for delivery of your signed marriage license to the county clerk after the wedding.”
Couples must book ahead by calling 414.292.0801. Couples should also be at the brewery before their scheduled ceremony (always a good idea) to help keep the day moving in a timely manner. As a friendly reminder, all patrons on premise must be 21 or older or accompanied by a legal parent or guardian at all times. The deadline for booking Package Ceremonies is February 1, 2019. There is a two week turnaround for many of the package items.
