Just when we starting to think, “hey, it’s been a couple hours since Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant opened up a new location, wonder what’s up,” we got the news that it signed a lease for its 11th Pennsylvania location on South Eagle Road in Newtown, Pa. Whew.
With this new location announced, (its 17th overall) the Iron Hill crew remains on track in its “20 restaurants by 2020” initiative. Located in the heart of Newtown and owned by the Brixmor Property Group, the brewery and restaurant will be joining several additions to the renovated shopping center with an anticipated opening date in Spring 2020.
The 7,500-sq. ft. space will be in the L-shaped addition along West Road, which is currently under construction. It will feature Iron Hill’s signature on-site brewing facility as well as seating for approximately 350 including a bar area, dining room, and outdoor dining space. Brixmor Property Group is investing approximately $35 million to renovate and expand the center.

said Kevin Finn, co-founder of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant. “We have a long history of quenching consumers thirst for craft beer and made from scratch food in a fun and comfortable setting; which is something we feel will complement the current establishments throughout the town.”
Iron Hill will once again will partner with Boulder, CO-based Bray Architecture to design the brewery and restaurant to reflect the modern color-palate and welcoming floor plan of their newest locations.
In addition to expansion, Iron Hill is renovating targeted locations to enhance customer experience and give loyal customers even more reason to keep coming back. Iron Hill in Wilmington, DE recently celebrated a grand re-opening and Maple Shade, NJ is currently also undergoing a refresh.
