The member breweries of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association (OCBA) elected five representatives to the eleven-member board of directors. Jimmy Stockwell of Little Fish Brewing in Athens was re-elected for his second term as vice-president and third total term on the board. Land-Grant Brewing Co. Co-owner Adam Benner was elected to succeed Tim Ward of North High Brewing as treasurer. This will be Benner’s first term serving on the OCBA board. Ward was term-limited after serving as treasurer for six years.
Current board members John Haggerty of Warped Wing Brewing Co. in Dayton, Ali Hovan of HiHO Brewing Co. in Cuyahoga Falls and Mark Hunger of Great Lakes Brewing Co. in Cleveland were re-elected to their seats.
Each of the five elected members of the board of directors will serve a two-year term expiring in August 2022.
“With all the upheaval that the coronavirus pandemic has caused in the brewing industry, our board of directors has reaffirmed their commitment to working on behalf of all Ohio breweries,” said OCBA Executive Director Mary MacDonald. “The board’s diversity of experience has been a major source of strength as we work to guide all of our state’s breweries through this crisis.”
