When the New England Craft Brew Summit, the largest craft beer conference on the East Coast, launched in 2015, craft beer was on the verge of massive growth, experiencing the excitement and uncertainty of a new industry. Nearly ten years later, the landscape looks much different as craft brewing transitions from new kid on the block to a mature industry.
“This is still an exciting time to be in craft beer, but we’re facing different challenges and opportunities than we did a decade ago,” said Shea Cusick, executive director of the Maine Brewers’ Guild. “Breweries in Maine create an experience for their customers in each of our sixteen counties. They are a needed part of the economy and a pull for tourism.”
With that in mind, The New England Craft Brew Summit will return to Portland, Maine on March 7, 2024 at Holiday Inn By the Bay with the theme of “From Startup to Steady.”
Presented by Allen Insurance and Financial, the New England Craft Brew Summit will feature a range of presentations, panels and new for 2024, tabletop discussions. Topics will range from how to get your product in more grocery stores to employee wellbeing and new technologies in brewing. The conference is expected to draw more than 500 industry professionals from across the region.
“The New England Craft Brew Summit isn’t just about brewing beer; it is a strategic gathering where innovative thinking and creative strategies will be on tap, ensuring that Maine made beer will not only survive but thrive,” said Cusick.
