CODO Design (and new partner Neenah Packaging)
Famous for an all-time great CBB webinar on branding, CODO Design has worked with breweries across the country (and increasingly, the world) on their branding, packaging, web design and marketing. After years of working in this field, they gathered their experience and insights into a free online resource, culminating in the Craft Beer Branding Guide.
Originally launched in August 2016, the step-by-step guide to branding and positioning craft breweries was so well received that in December, Neenah Packaging reached out to partner with CODO on a special print run. The availability of this book coincides with the launch of Neenah Packaging’s expansion of its BELLA Label Papers line with new label papers. CODO has used Neenah Paper for years and were honored to partner with them on this project.
Neenah Packaging will be hosting a hospitality suite at the Craft Brewers Conference on Wednesday, April 12 celebrating and handing out free copies of the newly printed Craft Beer Branding Guide. Come meet the folks at CODO and Neenah, and grab your copy while they last.
Brewery Pak
Booth 2122
Pak Programs leads the industry in customized insurance programs for breweries, as well as wineries, cideries, distilleries, retailers, importers and distributors. In fact, Brewery Pak is the largest insurance provider for breweries nationwide, underwriting coverage through A+ rated Great American Insurance Companies.
Brewery Pak provides coverage for beer production, barrel aging, restaurants and tap rooms, among others. They provide all lines of insurance including buildings, stock, contamination, leakage, tanks and barrels, transit, as well as general/liquor liability. Pak Programs’ dedicated team works to customize insurance packages to help clients better control their exposure to risk. This year, Pak Programs is particularly focused on two exposures of concern brewing within the industry — environmental and cyber risk.
An accidental or improper discharge of wastewater from a brewery could impact drinking water, wildlife and more. Unfortunately, standard general liability policies do not protect against environmental risk, but Pak Programs offers an environmental liability insurance policy that does. This policy helps cover compensation, penalties, bodily injury, property damage and cleanup fees.
Incidents of phishing, point-of-sale intrusions and data breach are dangers all too real to breweries, as they are to other businesses. To tackle this exposure, Pak Programs offers cyber risk coverage that includes network security liability, extortion protection, as well as business income and extra expense coverage.
Pak Programs’ comprehensive coverage selections also differentiate the specialty insurer from its competitors by offering unique options like selling price valuation at the barrel level. With personalized service and on-site loss-control assessments, Pak Programs can provide the coverage breweries need to protect their businesses and continue to brew mouthwatering beers.
