Crosby Hop Farm has a lot going on at the Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo next week, and you’re probably going to want to check it all out. Here’s what’s happening.
HopHash and hop varietals on display
First, there is the booth. At this year’s CBC, Crosby Hop Farm (booth 3419) will have its concentrated HopHash, experimental hop varieties and more than 20 varieties — including Crosby grown — on hand, like Crosby Type 90 hop pellets. Its high-quality, craft-inspired pellets retain the whole cone aroma offering exceptional dry hopping capabilities. Stop by to learn more about how this fifth-generation sustainable farm grows, sources and processes premium hop products from around the world.
An evening of music and comedy
Join Crosby Hop Farm and Deschutes Brewery for a night of soul music and comedy, featuring craft beer icons answering unexpected questions. NYC-comedian Jim Tews will interview industry luminaries for “Between Two Hops,” a fun take on Zach Galifinakis’ “Between Two Ferns.” Virginia’s own “The Big Payback: A Tribute to James Brown” takes center stage at U Street Music Hall to close out the night. Show your badge for free admission and enjoy a great beer selection, including some rarities from Deschutes Brewery.
Talk hops over coffee
On April 13, the last day of CBC, have a cup of coffee and a tasty bite on Crosby Hop Farm, from 8-10 a.m. at A Baked Joint.
The Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America is the No. 1 event of the craft beer year (April 10-13), and we want you to be ready to see all of the cool new stuff on the trade show floor. We asked exhibitors to tell us what they will be showing off, and we turned those submissions into these handy CBC previews. See you in D.C.
