I’ve accumulated a mighty growler collection during my beer adventures, and I’m willing to trade in every last one of’em (much to the pleasure of my gal pal) for Dogfish Head Brewery’s new ceramic, masterpiece. As a part of Dogfish Head’s Artisan Collection, which apparently also includes brewery-themed belt buckles, bottle openers and ornaments, comes the UBER Growler. Handmade of ceramic (just watch above), the growler is shaped like an antique diving helmet, which is being lovingly attacked by a monstrous octopus that also makes up the handle. We have no idea if this is really supposed to hold beer (they pour some in the video), but it costs $395, so probably not. Watch Paul and Tonya Romanick of Romanick Pottery in Newark, Del., make a few for the holiday season.
If you are interested in purchasing one of these growlers, just email [email protected] with the subject line: UBER Growler. Also, Dogfish Head, please send us some free samples for the office!

Hi Keith! Thanks for the kudos! My husband, Paul Romanick, and I create the Uber Growlers for DFH. Loved your article! Yes!!! They do hold beer and it keeps fresh for weeks without opening. Cheers, Paul and Tonya from http://www.romanickpottery.com.
