While you’re still sitting here reading poorly written beer blogging, other go-getters are already out there crushing 2017. Four String Brewing Co. is one of those uber-achievers. While we were all nursing hangovers over the holidays, the Columbus-based craft brewery was busy announcing that it will now be offering contract brewing services beginning in January of 2016 and beyond. They even sent out this quote in a press release (like, over break). Come on, dudes/dudettes, you’re making us look lazy.
“Due to a recent expansion, we now have the tank space to offer contract brewing services to startup and existing breweries,” said Founder Dan Cochran. Four String’s production facility located on the west side of Columbus is within 500 miles of 48 percent of the U.S. population, which makes it well positioned for access to market.
“We are excited to offer end to end-high quality brewing and packaging services,” added Brewmaster Larry Horwitz who designed the system in 2015.
Well, Four String is out there pounding the pavement. Guess it’s time for the rest of us to get back to work. Some of the brewery specs:
Four String has flexibility with batch sizes ranging from 30 to 120 barrels. There’s a canning line that can package 12- and 16-ounce cans in both 4-packs and 6-packs. Draft packaging for ½- and 1/6-barrel kegs is also available. A quality control lab is on site to ensure a premium and consistent product.
