Recently, Cleveland-based Saucy Brew Works announced the closure of its Detroit location. From the website:
Despite our best efforts and the dedicated work of our talented team, the ongoing challenges posed by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to The Covid-19 Pandemic, rising Inflation, labor force issues, and the general economy not reviving post the pandemic have made it unsustainable for us to continue operations at this time. This decision was not made lightly, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused to our valued customers, partners, and employees.
When one door closes, another one opens. Just this week Saucy Brew Works announced the grand opening of a new location — Bayshore Resort in Put-In-Bay — an island in Lake Erie that is a party and vacation destination for northern Ohioans. The Bayshore Resort is the island’s only lakefront hotel, replete with two pools and now a tiki bar with lake views. Nestled amidst the picturesque ambience of the Bayshore Resort, the Saucy Tiki Bar will offer a rotating selection of Saucy Brew Works favorites alongside an array of craft cocktails, wine and seltzers. The Tiki Bar will be operational seven days a week — from 12 to 10 p.m. — but there’s more.
Located within the resort’s lobby, the Saucy Coffeehouse will have Saucy coffee beverages to offer. Yep, Saucy does coffee too. Operating hours for the coffeehouse are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., but there’s more. From the press release:
Future endeavors include the introduction of Island Burger by Saucy Brew Works, showcasing a delectable menu curated by the talented Head Chef, Andrew Gorski. We encourage you to stay tuned for further updates and forthcoming expansions, as we continue to enhance our offerings at the Bayshore Resort.
