If you are at the Craft Brewers Conference this week (and if you’re not, what’s up? Did you get lost?) be sure to stop by the Crosby Hop Farm booth (2625) as well as its lounge on the third floor of Nashville’s Music City Center. For one thing, you’ll get to take in the aroma of hops and drink world-class beer brewed with exciting Oregon-grown varieties from CHF and Indie Hops. Eight beers are pouring daily, so you should probably head back each day to try all 24. View the full menu here.
But, even more, you can win stuff. Sign up for a chance to win a trip for two to Portland during the hop harvest to see the farm up close and raise a glass with brewers at Crosby’s annual harvest festival.
What is Crosby highlighting this year?
- New Zealand hops — Crosby Hop Farm has expanded its partner grower program, working directly with Freestyle Hops in New Zealand to source 13 hop varieties for the 2018 harvest and beyond. Many popular New Zealand varieties will be available by early summer in both whole leaf and Crosby produced pellet options.
- Three new, in-demand varieties — CHF has added Comet, Strata and Meridian to its growing catalog of 80+ varieties. Comet is Crosby grown and available after harvest 2018. Strata is available for spot orders from CHF and Indie Hops for 2019 contract orders. Meridian is available now for spot and contract orders.
