The Beer Institute, a key representative of the beer industry in the United States, has released its September 2023 domestic tax paid estimate, revealing a noticeable shift in the industry. According to the latest figures, the domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for September 2023 totaled 13,200,000 barrels. This represents a significant decrease of 7.4% compared to the September 2022 removals, which stood at 14,256,962 barrels. The October 2023 domestic tax paid estimate is scheduled to be released on December 7, 2023.
