AlaBev, an Alabama craft beer distributor, sets the stage for retailers across the state to meet brewers from around the world at the second annual AlaBev Trade Show on Thursday, May 21. The AlaBev Trade Show floor will open up to the public for AlaBev Spilled Over — A Craft Beer Tasting. The AlaBev Trade Show will culminate with a celebration open to the public at the official after-party featuring Moon Taxi.
“The AlaBev team is excited to fuse our retailers with the brands they are selling everyday,” stated Harry Kampakis, president of AlaBev. “Our breweries will showcase their product and interact with those who sell their product, ultimately providing knowledge and know-how when it comes to beer. Having a second annual event shows the success and necessity for uniting all tiers of the three-tier system under one roof.”
The AlaBev Trade Show will feature an exhibition floor with more than 30 breweries showcasing their product, expert seminars including Draft Beer Profitability, Beer 101 and Shelf Management, as well as a Food Pavilion featuring creations from Culinard students paired with beer.
The cleanup party, AlaBev Spilled Over, starts at 5 p.m., where craft beer lovers can sample fan favorites and rare beer left over from a day of tastings while supplies last. The fun continues with the official after-party as Lagunitas brings Moon Taxi to WorkPlay.
