Recap of BrewDog’s party, investor meeting to kick off U.S. operations (we attend and take photos) September 26, 2016Sean Wright These samples are part of Step 2. as explained above. Patient fans line up for a pour of their favorite BrewDog beer. That’s a lot of kegs – BrewDog came prepared! These guys didn’t stop for hours. They deserve some props! The lines were always there, but they were always moving. And they gave people an excuse to chat about the one thing they all had in common – a love of craft beer! There were tours going all evening, so there was plenty of opportunity for investors to see the dream they were helping to bring to life. Rhinegheist, among other local and regional guest breweries, had taps flowing. There was a strong community spirit here. We took a minute to sit down and read up on BrewDog’s approach to business and what an investment in their brewery was really supporting. The BrewDog team made themselves available to everyone in attendance and made time to talk to anyone who was interested. BrewDog’s food truck game was on point, giving attendees several options. We went with Ajumama’s Korean street food. No regrets! On the brewery tour with CFO Neil Simpson. Honorary CBB’er Stephanie stands in for perspective on just how massive this mural is. BrewDog CFO Neil Simpson had lots to say about the history of BrewDog, how it ended up here in Columbus, Ohio, and how different it is constructing a brewery here compared to Ellon, Scotland. Neil Simpson shares his vision for BrewDog’s first venture in craft brewing in the USA. Imagine coming off the local bike trail on a sunny day and walking across a beautiful patio through these doors and into the future BrewDog brewery bar. Yeah, that sounds great! Now imagine this room full of brewing equipment, a giant canning line and lots and lots of beer-in-production. BrewDog has built with growth and expansion in mind. Not only was the beer great, but the music entertainment lined up for the evening really rocked. Here Columbus, OH band, Love Alive, jams with a passion. There was great craft beer available all evening long. This could be a picture of BrewDog Punk IPA, Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA or Land Grant Brewing’s Neutron double IPA. I can’t remember now… tough life, I know. What a fun evening! Rock on Love Alive. Rock on BrewDog! Pages: Page 1 Page 2
