Green Flash Brewing resumes distribution to Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Green Flash Brewing Co. recently announced the return of its Green Flash and Alpine brand families to Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This market relaunch marks a focused and limited distribution of Green Flash and Alpine beers into East Coast markets driven by continued consumer interest in the brewing company’s innovative hop-forward portfolio. Green Flash will partner with Atlantic Beverage Distributors who will sell and market the brands in both states. Sales of Green Flash’s iconic West Coast IPA, its new hazy IPA, and Tropical DNA, along with Alpine Beer Co.’s Duet, Nelson and HFS brands, will begin September 9 at selected locations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. All beers will be available in six-pack 12-oz. cans and draft.

Bell’s Brewery announces distributor change in Washington, D.C.
Bell’s Brewery is recently sent us a release about its new distributor partnership in Washington, D.C. Legends Distributing of Washington, D.C., part of Legends Limited, a Sheehan Family Co., assumed service for the distribution footprint of Hop and Wine effective August 30. Dogfish Head Craft Brewery heads to Mississippi, expanding its reach to 45 states and DC
We already reported on this, but it bears repeating: Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has announced its collection of off-centered ales is on its way to the great state of Mississippi. The Delaware-based brewery is partnering with Capital Distributing to bring its full lineup of flavorful brews to residents throughout the Magnolia State, increasing the company’s total market distribution to 45 states and Washington, D.C. Locals can look for Dogfish Head beers on shelves and taps starting in early September.
Committed to delivering consistent, off-centered goodness to its fans, Dogfish Head has strategized and laid the groundwork for a forward-looking growth plan for Mississippi and beyond. Along with offering a diverse portfolio of craft beers, Dogfish Head redesigned its artwork, revamped its packaging, tripled the size of its sales team to further support its existing distribution partners across the nation and announced its 2019 artist collaboration with Michael Hacker for the Off-Centered Art Series.

Limited quantities of specialty brews and rarities may also be available throughout the year.
Laguna Beach Beer selects Brown Bag Beverage for distro in San Diego
Brown Bag Beverage, one of the fastest growing craft beer and cider distributors in the Greater San Diego area, added another interesting brand to its portfolio — Laguna Beach Beer Co. from Laguna Beach, Calif. Brown Bag Beverage will be distributing some of Laguna Beach Beer’s most popular beers such as its 1000 Steps IPA, Greeter’s Ale, Tuava Guava, Canyon Road Red Ale, Second Reef Blond Ale and seasonal beers such as its Orange Crush.

Louisiana’s Huckleberry Brewing signs distribution agreement with Pelican Craft Brands
Huckleberry Brewing Co. in Alexandria, La., has signed a distribution agreement with Pelican Craft Brands. Pelican Craft Brands is a full-line beverage distributor specializing in American craft beer, servicing retail outlets from supermarkets to neighborhood bars serving the greater Baton Rouge, North-Shore and greater New Orleans areas of Louisiana.

Kansas Territory Brewing heads to the big city (Kansas City)
Kansas City beer drinkers can now enjoy Life Coach Lager on both sides of the state line as Kansas Territory Brewing Co. expands distribution into the Kansas City — Kansas and Missouri markets.

Florida’s Big Storm Brewing brings its cloud-busting beer to Ohio
Florida-based Big Storm Brewing Co. is coming to the Buckeye State. Big Storm announced that Ohio Eagle Distributing will begin distributing its core beers around the Cincinnati area starting this month.
“Ohio’s craft beer scene is impressive and stronger than ever. We’re excited to be a part of this energy and to have the opportunity to share our unique and dynamic beers with consumers in the Cincinnati region,” said Big Storm Co-Owner L.J. Govoni.
Ohio Eagle Distributing is distributing two of Big Storm’s most popular brews, Tropic Pressure Florida Ale and Key Lime Shandy. It will also be distributing Big Storm’s Bromosa Brut IPA and its award-winning Oktoberfest Märzen Lager.

Wisconsin’s Central Waters Brewing teams up with Atlantic Beverage Distributors to sell in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Central Waters Brewing Co. of Amherst, Wis., recently announced its partnership with Atlantic Beverage to distribute products into Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Atlantic. They are a wholesaler that already distributes a wide range of great craft brands, and we are proud to be considered among them,” said Anello Mollica, Central Waters Brewing co-owner. “We already have distribution in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, so opening Massachusetts and Rhode Island is our next logical extension. We look forward to sharing our beers with everyone, we offer a range of styles in bottles and cans and Atlantic has brought in a wide range of beers – year-round products, barrel-aged beers, as well as newer canned specialty IPAs, so we will have something for everyone.”
“We are excited to provide a wide range of their releases to both states,” added Mino Soghomonian, Atlantic Beverage Distributors general sales manager. “Their quality product will be released into the market the week of August 19th.”
Central Waters has been in business since 1998, producing craft ales and lagers for the Midwest and recently expanding into other markets. It is well known for producing a year-round lineup of great beers, including Mudpuppy Porter, Honey Blonde Ale and Rift IPA among others. Recently, the brewery started a can line that includes a wide range of New England IPAs, milkshake IPAs and kettle soured beers — further diversifying their offerings.
