Admittedly, Ziemann Holvrieka is a mouthful — specifically a mouthful of delicious, golden beer. To get even more specific, by mouthful, we actually mean a vessel full of golden craft beer coming from Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits Co. Ziemann Holvrieka just announced that it’s working with Ballast Point and its latest brewhouse demands.
According to the German-brand’s U.S. operations, the brewery from San Diego has ordered, within the scope of a capacity expansion, one Lotus lauter tun with a diameter of 7.6 meters. Looking into the future, Ziemann Holvrieka projects helping Ballast Point with 12 cylindroconical tanks that sit 15 meters high, 5 meters in diameter and have a fermentation capacity of around 2,000 hectoliters.
