Cellar 3 is not just a series of rare, barrel-aged beer offerings from Green Flash Brewing Co. (it’s even cooler). It’s an expansion for Green Flash, a second San Diego facility. It’s the newly constructed Cellar 3 barrel house and packaging facility. In May, it even opened its Cellar 3 public tasting room. It’s all located in the eastern part of San Diego County’s Poway neighborhood, with over 12,000 square feet dedicated to the art of craft beer innovation through barrel-aging and wild yeast experimentation. Sound cool? Well, what comes out of that facility is even more fantastic.
Cellar 3’s rare barrel-aged beers are packaged in 750-ml cork-finished bottles (retailing from $9 to $19), and the first release was back in April (the Silva Stout). The video above shows the Cellar 3 bottling and packaging line, which looks pristine. The end product (those fancy 750-ml champaign beers) look pretty damn classy. Is Green Flash reading this? Please send some to us.
