BarTrack has partnered with Micro Matic, a draft beer dispensing equipment company, on the new Smart Draft System Powered by BarTrack. This combines Micro Matic’s draft equipment with BarTrack’s sensor technologies and management tools to provide real-time access to beverage quality analytics, and automate inventory management.
The Smart Draft System Powered by BarTrack brings smart technology across a line of draft dispensing equipment to the market, including refrigeration, glycol power packs — with Smart Draft Lines, The Smart Glycol Power Pack, and Smart Refrigeration — to create the first vertically integrated Smart Draft System.
The system uses a combination of IoT offerings that monitor and report on all the variables that affect beverage quality and profitability, including draft line temperature, cooler temperature, pressure, line cleanliness, foam, unrung pours, keg levels, and system health.
BarTrack’s technology has no moving parts. The integrated BarTrack App connects to the smart system and point-of-sale tools, providing teams with comprehensive data on every pour from the keg to the consumer’s glass.
“At BarTrack, we understand the importance of preventing problems before they occur. The Smart Draft System is designed to give you peace of mind and protect your business.” said Brett Danielson, CEO of BarTrack. “We are thrilled to partner with Micro Matic to help further operators and service providers through our ecosystem which will prevent wasted product and ultimately lead to the perfect drinking experience for patrons.”
Smart Glycol Power Pack
Included within the Smart Draft System is the Smart Glycol Power Pack, a cutting-edge refrigeration unit with advanced monitoring technology, offering real-time insights into critical temperature data and equipment performance, protecting draft systems from damage before it happens–ensuring operational efficiency and the freshness and safety of valuable inventory.
“The average restaurant loses over ten thousand dollars annually due to preventable equipment-related spoilage,” Danielson noted. “The Smart Draft System actively monitors equipment health, providing instant notifications to prevent costly inventory losses and reduce environmental impact. With our innovative system, operators will also gain comprehensive insights into walk-in cooler temperature and liquid temperatures, glycol bath temperature, compressor temperature, and pump performance.”
Additionally, customers will receive automated preventive alerts for system abnormalities, providing valuable troubleshooting information to the support team and technicians.
