Cleveland’s flagship craft brewer, Great Lakes Brewing Co., recycles some 100 tons per year, raises money for local environmental efforts at its annual Burning River Fest and helps run the largest urban farm in the nation (6-acre Ohio City Farm). Cleveland has always been nicknamed “The Forest City,” and today corporate citizens like Great Lakes Brewing lead a community that understands the power and importance of conserving nature.
