Neshaminy Creek Brewing, just outside of Philadelphia in Croydon, Pa., has officially won the Halloween season, and the Craft Beer Marketing Idea of the Week (month? year??), by announcing a FULL MONTH of spooky programming. Let’s take look.

- October 3rd at 6:30pm – Books & Beers Meet-Up: The Mist
- October 3rd at 7pm – The Mist Screening
- October 4th at 5pm – Crypt Video Rentals and A Nightmare on Elm Street Screening
- October 5th at 12pm – Crypt Video Rentals and The Haunted Mask Screening
- October 10th at 7pm – Frankenstein Screening
- October 17th at 7pm – A Nightmare Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors Screening
- October 19th at 6pm – The Monster Mash-In Halloween Bash
- October 24th at 7pm – Killer Klowns From Outer Space Screening
- October 26th at 5pm – Mischief Night Mayhem 3 Pro Wrestling
- October 26th at 6pm – Poe in the Garden
- October 31st at 7pm – Halloween III: Season of the Witch Screening
The Monster Mash-In on Saturday, October 19 is the brewery’s big Halloween Bash with DJ Hi-Tide that will also have a costume contest. Tickets are only $15 and include one draft beer, access to the themed private party area with DJ, discounted drinks at the exclusive party bar, tricks AND treats.
Dawn of the Jawn of the Dead will feature the brewery’s collaboration with The George A. Romero Foundation (GARF), Jawn of the Dead Red Rye IPA, and a screening of Land of the Dead along with vendors, merchandise, and a raffle. A portion of the proceeds of the event and beer sales will be donated to GARF, an organization dedicated to honoring the life, work, and cultural influence of George A. Romero. The foundation mainly focuses on supporting a new generation of filmmakers and artists inspired by his legacy through scholarships and fellowships while also restoring and preserving George’s work.
Neshaminy Creek’s monthly Books & Beers club will meet on Thursday, October 3rd to discuss Stephen King’s The Mist followed by a screening of the film adaptation, which will be the first in their Thursday Night Frights. These are weekly outdoor spooky season screenings presented in conjunction with Tapes From The Crypt.
Crypt Video Rentals will have a pop-up retro VHS and pop culture market on Friday, October 4th and 5th with over 2 vendors that’ll tap into the nostalgia of classic video stores. In addition to the market, there will be photo ops, raffles, and screenings each night with exclusive celebrity intros. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.
The brewery will host 2 events on Saturday, October 26th – Mischief Night Mayhem 3 and Poe in the Garden. Mischief Night Mayhem is a pro-wrestling showcase with live bands and tickets can be purchased online here. Poe in the Garden will begin as the sun sets on spooky season, guests are invited to grab a pint and settle in for storytime with the Master of the Macabre, Edgar Allan Poe. He’ll be telling tales and spinning yarns in the beer garden that are sure to make your spine tingle.
A rotating selection of local food trucks on site for each of these events. Croydon Haunted Hollows will also be involved in a number of the brewery’s upcoming experiences by providing ambience, decorations, and scare actors. Their mission is to create an inclusive Halloween experience with sensory-friendly and wheelchair-accessible haunts.
