We love a good craft beer sports sponsorship. Vermont’s Stifel Killington Cup is coming up on Nov. 30 and Lawson’s Finest Liquids is letting its rooting interest show with the debut of Paula’s World IPA — a tribute to American World Cup alpine ski racer Paula Moltzan.
Moltzan will be competing and sponsored by Lawson’s Finest as a Sunshine Team athlete. The collaboration between athlete Paula Moltzan and the proud Vermonters at Lawson’s Finest Liquids is a celebration of Vermont’s vibrant ski culture and après ski beer tradition.
“Paula Moltzan is a powerful presence in U.S. skiing and shares similar core values, we’re so proud to partner with her. This winning IPA was created to capture her bright, competitive spirit, love of Vermont and zest for the sport,” said Adeline Druart, Lawson’s Finest Liquids CEO.
Featuring Paula mid-ski on the label, Paula’s World IPA (6.2% ABV) is characterized by bold citrus flavor, piney hops and a clean finish.
More on Paula Moltzan
The alpine ski powerhouse skied collegiately at University of Vermont, where she developed a deep connection to the Mad River Valley, home to Lawson’s Finest Liquids. A slalom and giant slalom specialist, Paula was the first American woman to win slalom gold at Junior World Championships in 2015, and has since become a two-time NCAA First Team All-American and a podium winner on the World Cup stage.
