Lone Tree Lime Mexican Lager now in cans
Lone Tree Brewing has a new seasonal variant of their award-winning flagship on the market, just in time to welcome summertime in Colorado. Lone Tree’s Mexican Lager is a three-time Great American Beer Festival winner that started as a draft-only beer; and like all of the brewery’s canned offerings, it was so popular in the tasting room that it eventually graduated to a can back in 2015.
It is now so popular, Lone Tree created a new lime-infused variant of it to welcome longer, warmer days. Lime Mexican Lager in cans is yet another Lone Tree draft offering turned packaged beer. Its base is Lone Tree’s classic 5.3% ABV Mexican-style Lager recipe with the addition of real lime purée.
“We’ve received overwhelming positive feedback on this beer at our two tasting rooms in Lone Tree and Parker,” says Lone Tree Brewing Director of Tasting Rooms Michael Webster. “There’s genuine enthusiasm for how refreshing the Lime Mexican Lager is on a summer day. Combine that with strong sales data, and we saw this beer was a perfect candidate for our next seasonal can.”

Empyrean Brewing debuts NA option with Hop Drops
Lincoln, Nebraska’s Empyrean Brewing Co. released its inaugural non-alcoholic offering, Hop Drops—a sparkling water infused with hops to deliver the crisp and refreshing essence of Empyrean’s signature brews without the alcohol content.
Hop Drops is alcohol, gluten, sugar and carb-free to cater to health-conscious consumers seeking a flavorful alternative to soft drinks, or for those desiring the tasty appeal of hops without the effects of alcohol.
“The original idea behind hop water was to make something refreshing and beer-like that brew staff can enjoy while working in a busy brewery. Ours turned out so tasty, full of citrus – yet light and crisp, we decided that we have to share this delight with others.” says Jim Engelbart, Operations Manager.
Hop Drops Sparkling Water is brewed without grain or sugar, generously hopped, then biotransformed using beer yeast. The biotransformation brings out the best hop flavors and aromas. Featuring Mosaic, El Dorado and Bru-1 hops, you’ll find this version crisp and lemon-centric. With only three ingredients, water, hops and yeast, this beverage is a cool and refreshing guilt-free alternative.
This launch was also inspired by Empyrean’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of their local community. “Over the years, our community has expressed interest in alternative products, particularly gluten-free and non-alcoholic options. We believe Hop Drops offers the perfect combination to meet these demands,” adds Ben Matya, Sales Manager.

Ford’s Garage locations in Novi and Dearborn will feature the brew as part of its Ford heritage collection. A non-alcoholic version of the beer is also in the works.
