Longtab Brewing, a veteran-owned brewery located in the heart of San Antonio, is once again partnering with Soldiers’ Angels this year. The brewery will once again donate a portion of the proceeds from its Military City beer — dubbed the “Official Beer of Military City” — to support Soldiers’ Angels in its mission to provide aid, resources, and support to Service Members, Veterans, and their families.
“Our mission at Longtab Brewing has always been deeply rooted in the Military values that shaped us,” said David Holland, U.S. Army Special Forces Veteran and founder of Longtab Brewing. “We’re honored to renew our commitment to Soldiers’ Angels, a nonprofit that shares our passion for supporting those who have given so much to our country. Together, we’re not just brewing beer; we’re brewing impact.”
Soldiers’ Angels, the largest volunteer-driven nonprofit of its kind in the United States, has made a nationwide impact through its extensive network of services. The organization supported over 1.4 million Veterans, Service Members, and families in 2024, providing food assistance, hygiene kits, and care packages, among other vital resources. In 2024 alone, more than 49,000 Military-connected families received food assistance, solidifying Soldiers’ Angels as the largest food provider exclusively to Veterans in the country.
Military City
Military City, a 5% ABV American Ale, is a community favorite that reflects the spirit and pride of San Antonio, a city with a strong and enduring Military heritage. Renowned as “Military City USA,” San Antonio is home to one of the nation’s largest active and retired Military populations and the Department of Defense’s largest medical center, the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.
“Longtab Brewing has been an incredible partner in uniting the Military and civilian communities of San Antonio,” said Amy Palmer, President and CEO of Soldiers’ Angels. “Every pint of Military City beer sold not only celebrates the rich Military history of this city but also provides crucial support to Military families and Veterans in need.”
Throughout 2025, one percent of Military City beer sales will be donated to Soldiers’ Angels. In 2024, a limited campaign raised more than $550 for the organization.
