Bent Water Brewing, the award-winning craft brewery from Lynn, Massachusetts, operated by Ohio native Aaron Reames, is doubling down on its commitment to Ohio through its relationship with Sixth City Distribution and sponsorship of the Country Legends Festival. Take a gander at those tickets.
For the second consecutive year, Bent Water is supporting the Country Legends Festival, taking place on August 31 in West Liberty, Ohio. The festival, a celebration of country music, will feature an array of talented artists and bands, with headlining performances from country legends like Tracy Lawrence and Diamond Rio. Country Legends will also feature Bent Water’s award-winning beers Premium Lager, Sluice Juice New England IPA, and Thunder Funk American India Pale Ale. Sluice Juice and Thunder Funk will be the only IPAs available at the festival. Bent Water’s popular seltzers Blackberry Lemon and Cranberry Blood Orange will also be stocked for music fans to enjoy.
“We are happy to again partner with Bent Water and make their award winning beers available to festival attendees,” said Matt Hull, co-founder of the Country Legends Festival. “They’ve become one of our biggest supporters over the years, and their commitment to the festival and our local community is truly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming Bent Water back to its second home at Country Legends.”
Ohio holds a special place in the heart of Bent Water Brewing, as co-founder and president Aaron Reames was born and raised in Bellefontaine, OH, near West Liberty where the Country Legends Festival is again taking place. Given the deep roots of the brewery in the area, supporting the Festival was a natural decision for the brewery.
“We are thrilled to again support the Country Legends Festival and to reinvest in the area where I grew up,” said Aaron Reames, co-founder and president of Bent Water Brewing (photo below). “Ohio will always be home to me, so I’m excited to bring our beers and offer a taste of Massachusetts, my current home, as we celebrate country music with the region.”
Bent Water Brewing has held a deep appreciation for music since its founding in 2015. The team, full of music enthusiasts, has collaborated with numerous musicians across various genres since opening, frequently hosts live music in its taproom, and has supported numerous venues in Massachusetts and other distribution states.
Bent Water’s sponsorship of this year’s Country Legends Festival is just its latest investment in Ohio. Earlier this year, the brewery expanded its distribution efforts in the state through a strategic partnership with Sixth City Distribution. The renewed focus on the Ohio market will bring Bent Water’s beers to even more beer consumers around the state.
Sixth City Distribution is a craft-focused distributor that has developed a carefully curated portfolio of beverages. They take pride in representing their brands to the most outstanding craft-centric retailers and bars in Ohio, only working with brands who share their commitment to excellence.
“Working with Bent Water has been fantastic,” stated Alison Meredith, Manager of Business Operations, Sixth City Distribution. “It’s great to partner with an out-of-state brand that has such deep roots in Ohio. We appreciate their dedication to the local community and their commitment to quality and innovation.”
