BrewDog USA, known for its punk spirit and award-winning brews, recently announced the opening of its first airport bar in the U.S. in partnership with global restaurateur HMSHost, part of Avolta, at John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH).
The 16-seat counter bar located in Concourse B, near Gate B20, serves BrewDog’s classic headliner brews like Elvis Juice, Hazy Jane and Punk IPA, plus a variety of other favorite beers, including Kona Big Wave Golden Ale, Market Garden Progress Pilsner and non-alcoholic options. The bar’s compact size doesn’t detract from the BrewDog experience, with a menu featuring specials like the giant soft pretzel, buffalo chicken bites, and classic cheeseburger.
“As we proudly open our first BrewDog airport bar in the U.S., we’re not just celebrating a new location, but also the continuation of a journey that began in 2017 when Columbus became the home of the brand’s U.S. headquarters and brewery,” says John Graham, CEO of BrewDog USA. “We’re excited to continue our legacy in this great city while bringing a taste of our quality brews and vibrant atmosphere to passengers passing through Columbus Airport.”
The 435 square-foot bar with wrap-around seating is hard to miss, with bright layers of color and bold graphics throughout. The back wall is a focal point with an eye-catching “Beers Landing Daily” sign complemented by an illuminated cinema board to showcase the rotating list of brews available, ranging from lagers and IPAs, to BrewDog’s highly praised non-alcoholic varieties.
“While we continue planning for our new terminal, we are proud to continue to provide new offerings to our passengers, and we are pleased to be home to BrewDog’s newest Central Ohio location,” said Joseph R. Nardone, President & CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. “We thank HMSHost for sharing our commitment to bring local flavors and hometown favorites to John Glenn International.”
“At HMSHost, we put the traveler at the center of everything we do to make their journey as exciting as their ultimate destination. We are thrilled to collaborate with BrewDog to offer passengers at John Glenn International a taste of the energy and experience of this growing brand and its iconic DogHouse Hotel and brewery in Columbus,” said HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Tosin Kasali. “We are proud of our continued partnership with the Columbus Regional Airport Authority to enhance the passenger experience for the tens of thousands of locals and visitors who pass through the terminal each day.”
BrewDog CMH is open daily starting at 10 a.m.
