Indeed Brewing Co. cultivates an eclectic lineup of beers from its headquarters in Minneapolis, Minn., and pilot brewery in Milwaukee, Wis. Indeed’s diverse offerings feature old-time favorites like Day Tripper Pale Ale, current hits like Flavorwave IPA and Pistachio Cream Ale, and now go beyond beer to include THC-infused seltzers.
Indeed is growing that new line this month, adding two sparkling THC drinks to its portfolio.
- High Fiver: Pistachio Dream (5mg THC and 5mg CBD) boasts the same flavoring as its popular Pistachio Cream Ale with the addition of vanilla.
- Double High Fiver: Pink Burst (10mg THC and 10mg CBD) features a flavor that resembles the pink Starburst candy.
Both drinks contain 0% alcohol.
“Our High Fiver Citrus Grass and Two Good Lavender Lemon have been so popular that it’s sometimes easy to just sit back and let those successes ride a little bit. But, either because of our ADHD or our ethos of always keep pushing, we’re excited to explore some more Sparkling THC options,” says Ryan Bandy, Director of Experience, Indeed Brewing Company.
“Pistachio Dream is a nostalgic flavor that tastes an awful lot like Pistachio ice cream, and is delicious with 5mg of THC and CBD. We wanted to have a 10mg THC and 10mg CBD option as well, for our more seasoned consumers, so we thought a bright and bold flavor would make sense for that: Pink Burst is fruity, tart and delicious. Can confirm that it tastes good when you’re actually eating pistachio ice cream with the Pistachio Dream, and/or a pink Starburst with the Pink Burst one.”
Two SoCal legends, Stone and USC, team on exclusive beer
The University of Southern California (USC) Athletics debuted its first-ever official craft beer, Stone Fight On! Pale Ale, brewed by Stone Brewing. Now available, Stone Fight On! Pale Ale will be distributed throughout Southern California at stores, bars, and restaurants and onsite at the Los Angeles Colosseum and the Galen Center, home of the USC Trojans.
“USC Athletics has been seeking the perfect beer partner — a regional brand that would be meaningful to our fans and add to the gameday experience, ” explained Drew DeHart, Vice President/General Manager, USC Sports Properties and Playfly Sports. “Stone really nailed a Pale Ale that’s representative of the SoCal craft beer scene, and easy drinking too. We’re honored to see our USC colors, marks and Trojan alongside the Stone Gargoyle.”
The 16 oz cans feature classic USC iconography and colors. Inside, the beer is a quintessential SoCal Pale Ale — a balanced blend of tropical and citrusy hop flavors, light-body and endlessly drinkable at 5.5% ABV. Stone’s brewers developed the beer to offer that hoppiness Southern Californians crave in a style that suits tailgates, beach days, and cheering from the stands or at home.
Half Full Brewery brews Grade Above Pilsner with local grocery chain
Stamford, Conn.-based Half Full Brewery once again teamed with Cingari Family ShopRite, a local, family-owned supermarket chain, on a specialty beer. This one is a light pilsner, perfect for cool summer enjoyment.
The aptly named Grade Above Pilsner, the latest entry in the Grade Above beer line, is only available at the Cingari Family’s 12 ShopRite locations in Connecticut’s Fairfield and New Haven counties. The two businesses were inspired to craft the unique Pilsner Beer out of a shared passion for delivering exceptional products and customer experiences.
“We’re always looking for new ways to bring our customers one-of-a-kind offerings and we can’t wait for our customers to enjoy this refreshing beer at their next summer barbecue or lakeside picnic,” says Tom Cingari Sr., President of Cingari Family ShopRite
The Grade Above Pilsner from Half Full Brewery is a classic pale lager. It is brewed with Pilsner malt for a slight, bready sweetness and then fermented cold for crisp, clean flavors, and a light mouthfeel. This makes it a clear and refreshing choice for cooling down on hot summer days.
Weldwerks readies next round of Medianoche
Medianoche is the acclaimed barrel-aged stout program of Greeley, Colo.-based WeldWerks Brewing. The next batch of releases make their debut this weekend
Medianoche: Amburana Vanilla Luar started after a year-long search, turned procurement, of Amburana barrels–WeldWerks’ holy grail. The excitement of securing the barrels launched the brewery to take some of their base Medianoche, which had already been aging in Old Rip Bourbon Barrels for over 16 months, and rest it in Amburana barrels for an additional six months. Double barrel-aging resulted in some of the most unique flavors they’ve ever encountered: notes of cinnamon, applejack, pie crust, chocolate-covered raisins, and an abundance of vanilla.
Fluffernutter Medianoche is decadent beer began at the blending table. After discovering a few barrels that had prominent vanilla notes reminiscent of marshmallows, there was no doubt about what had to be done. WeldWerks added copious amounts of peanut butter powder and marshmallow cream to create the long-awaited Fluffernutter Medianoche. This particular Medianoche was aged for 22-24 months in a combination of Weller Wheated Bourbon barrels and Eagle Rare Bourbon barrels.
