There’s something about a finely brewed craft beer that inspires putting a pen to paper (or more accurately the fingers to the keys). Take, for example, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery’s Sam Calagione’s excellent “Brewing Up a Business: Adventures in Beer from the Founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery,” the tracking of craft beer tradition in “The Audacity of Hops” or even this excellent website. Now, Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., is sharing his story in the soon-to-be-released “Beyond the Pale: The Story of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.”
The book will be released on August 26. According to the publisher Wiley, Grossman “shares his personal tales of perseverance and beer making as the founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Beyond the Pale.”
