Pure Madness Group – the new parent company following Roadhouse Brewing Co.’s recent acquisition of Melvin Brewing – is debuting Pure Madness Cafe in Jackson Hole’s Town Square, below the Roadhouse Pub & Eatery.
The PMC offers a robust selection of Roadhouse and Melvin brews and Mexican-style street food curated by the Fine Dining Restaurant Group.
“For fans who used to get their Melvin on tap in Jackson at Thai Me Up, we’re thrilled to offer Melvin back on the Town Square, and psyched for the first official collaborative venture for Pure Madness with both Roadhouse and Melvin represented together,” notes Pure Madness Co-Founder Colby Cox. “It’s a new era for some of the best craft beer – alongside more destination-worthy eats from Gavin & co – here in the heart of Jackson.”
With a Southwestern vibe, Pure Madness Cafe evokes the red rock of the high desert, with a floor of red penny tiles, red walls and mural work by Denver artist RUMTUM, with whom Melvin has designed past labels for its Experimental series. Guests will have the choice of ordering at the counter or online for grab & go. A small parklet offers coveted outdoor seating along the Town Square in Jackson.
Inspired by the taquerias of East LA, FDRG and Pure Madness co-founder Gavin Fine and team will be managing the food service at Pure Madness Cafe. One focus of the menu is sourcing the finest hominy and corn, developing a house-milled masa program for fresh tortillas and more. The comfortable and casual all-day eatery is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, available to-go or dine in.
The beverage program will feature a range of IPAs, along with other limited-edition releases and pilot batches from the Roadhouse Pub & Eatery nano-brewery upstairs and Melvin’s nearby Alpine, WY production facility.
A large, Texas road stop-inspired beer fridge will greet guests upon entering for grabbing single cans of any Roadhouse or Melvin beer under the sun; while a draft system will offer rotating small-batch brews from both breweries. Such as:
- Pura Vida: Roadhouse’s take on a Mexican-style lager, using copious corn and Vienna malt for an authentic biscuity and grainy flavor, perfect garnished with a lime
- Fruited sours from Roadhouse featuring Mexican and Central American fruits.
- Melvin’s takes on West Coast inspired IPA highlighting new and flavorful hops, including some exciting new developments over recent years that produce flavors like coconut and pineapple.
