Have enough space in your parking lot or on your property for an RV or two to park overnight? Do you have an especially cool, scenic / destination location? Then you may want to look into being a Harvest Host. This is a membership network that connects RVers with unique overnight destinations across the country, and they’re partnering with small beverage operations to house road travelers in exchange for purchases in their store like bottle of wine.
The pitch for you, community-minded and free-spirited craft brewery owner, is a passive revenue stream. The organization’s media team tells us Harvest Hosts members are projected to spend over $40M with small business and non-profit hosts in 2022 – an average locations earns $15K extra in a year, some even peaking $50K.
“It’s a win-win for both sides: easy patronizing for customers that is cheaper than a hotel room, gets a unique experience and the business gets sales,” the Harvest Host team says. “It helps to advertise the business for free – it is free for a host to partner with Harvest Hosts, so there is only something to gain.”
Heck, maybe this could expand your pool of customers too, especially if you are into eCommerce.
“Many of the hosts have begun to ship things nationally after being able to connect with so many tourists,” they tell us.
If you agree that this indeed may be a win-win for you – head over to their site to learn more.
