MadTree Brewing is hosting a very cool event on May 14. One Good Party is the Cincinnati brewery’s biggest party of the year, and it is filled with music, food, activities, and, the best part, a friendly beer competition that highlights four of their nonprofit partners.
“It’s going to be a great day to have fun while also highlighting our amazing nonprofit partners and the incredible work they do,” says Co-owner Brady Duncan, “We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with our community. It’s going to be an absolute blast.”
The Cincinnati Zoo, Adventure Crew, Cincinnati Parks Foundation, and Groundwork ORV each brewed their own beer which will be on tap exclusively at the party. All are a part of MadTree’s 1% For the Planet network, where MadTree donates 1% of all sales to environmentally sustainable nonprofits.
The first one to run out of their beer first will be declared the winner and have bragging rights…until next year.
“We’ve done a lot of volunteering projects with each of these partners and look forward to many more,” says Duncan. “But, for this party, we’re just looking forward to being able to all hang out having good drinks and fun.”
During the day, guests will be able to enjoy live music, food trucks, and activities like an animal encounter, face painting, Drake’s Planetarium experience, shopping at a gear swap, and much more. MadTree will also be utilizing all of their spaces creating a lounge area featuring their brand new Sway by MadTree premium vodka soda cocktails. The front parking lot will be transformed into a camping ground themed hangout space with lawn chairs and cornhole.
As the evening approaches, rare beers will be tapped, live music will be playing featuring bands like the Cliftones to keep the party rocking into the night. Check out the full schedule.
