Cin City’s Rhinegeist Brewery is one of the Top 50 biggest craft breweries in America — No. 25 in 2020 based on beer sales volume, according to this Brewers Association report. The brand was at the forefront of the craft beer revolution in Cincinnati when it opened in 2013, if you don’t count Sam Adams, which brews a lot of beer in Over-the-Rhine, or the city’s rich history of local suds from brands like Hudepohl to Burger.
Rhinegeist has become one of Cincinnati’s biggest and most important craft beer brands, located at the 250,000-sq-ft former site of Christian Moerlein’s packaging hall, again in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. This home base is beautiful with enormous spaces for beer drinking, food eating, friend hanging and beer production. The facility has maybe the best rooftop patio in Cincinnati, where I have personally spent many a summer evening relaxing with beer and family. I noticed this excellent promo video was released a few days ago, and it got me hankering for some Truth and Knowledge. It’s definitely worth a watch above, especially if you’ve never visited this amazing Midwest craft brewery.
