A-B-C Packaging Machine Corp. is a packaging expert with a big portfolio — case erectors, case packers, case sealers, palletizers, bulk depalletizers, partition openers, decasers, you name it. Ok, we will name it. How about partition opener/inserters? You know, a machine that inserts those partitions into packaging to keep bottles or products separated.
Yep, A-B-C offers a partition opener/inserter for high volume packaging lines. It feeds partitions into two cases simultaneously via servo-powered handling devices, which sounds very cool. The servos drive the partition indexing/opening and inserting, blending these two independent steps into one harmonious action that ensures gentle handling for smooth opening, precise placement and efficient case packing. Lateral stabilizers square each partition after opening to “lock” the partition’s interlocking panels and ensure smooth insertion into the waiting case or tray. A-B-C also offers a single head model for speeds up to 35 cpm too.
The unit’s compact size makes it an easy fit on most plant production floors. The Model 70 is a good choice for packagers in the wine, spirits and (yes!) beer industries or any company packing glass or fragile products into a case requiring a chipboard partition.
Well, what if you’re packaging multiple products? Ah, no tools are required for changeover on these units. That’s a standard feature. Plus, all product parameters are stored for immediate recall at the control console, and position indicators eliminate guesswork in adjusting to established settings. Future flexibility is ensured as it is easy to add specifications to run new partitions. The operator simply inputs the parameters at the touchscreen display then stores the data for future recall.
