John Hickenlooper announced his bid for president of the United States on March 7 at Wynkoop Brewing Co. The former geologist, Wynkoop co-owner, restauranteur, Denver mayor and Colorado governor has been called the complete opposite of Donald Trump. I could see how that might seem very attractive to some folks, but what’s really interesting about Hickenlooper is that he’s also a centrist that might actually be able to bridge the political divide between two diverging parties.
