Did ya’ll know Busch Beer still existed? Me neither. Not only does it still exist, it has a new marketing idea that sounds really cool: a hidden pop up shop complete with prizes and a sustainability commitment.
We at CBB are big into the concept of pop up brewery events. Examples we’ve highlighted previously range from the low-key (setup some kegs in your production facility to host some diehards in a new spot for a weekend) to more ambitious plans involving mobile taprooms.
Busch’s ‘Pop Up Schop’ is taking this concept and making a bit of a game out of it by hiding the pop up deep in a national forest and miles away from civilization.
Taking place for one-day-only on July 20, the location of Busch Pop Up Schop will be revealed via the Busch Twitter account in the week leading up to the opening. Those who decipher the clues will be handsomely rewarded with prizes from Busch, including the ultimate gift for any Busch fan – beer for life.
Hosted by the Busch Guy himself, there will be no price tags on any items in the Schop, and all visitors will have the chance to win a series of prizes, including America the Beautiful passes to our great National Parks, a cabin getaway for four, Busch branded coolers koozies, flannels, and much more.
As part of its ongoing partnership with the NFF, Busch has also pledged to plant 100 trees in a national forest for every visitor who arrives at the Schop.
