Brew-Tek starts up, offers line of brewing equipment, expertise

Craft brewers thinking about a new installation or expansion, take a look at recently launched supplier Brew-Tek.

The Brew-Tek team is composed of two main individuals with a combined 18 years of brewing experience that split the duties between them. The Director of Brewing Science, Joachim Mekoum is an American- and German-certified Brew Master & Brew Engineer. Jack Jent is head of marketing and sales. His skills and knowledge have taken him around the globe with many products and ideas.

Last year, the two of them set up the Chicago Brewery in Zhuhai China, which Jent manages with his staff. Mekoum’s background in the industry gives him  that expertise to design and implement an excellent brew house and take it to the next level of brewing. The two of them will be at the Craft Brewers Conference in Washington, D.C., this week.

Brew-Tek aim is to support the brewing industry by supplying high quality equipment, training and maintenance. They also provide consultation services and help with the installation of new equipment or expansion of existing brewhouses. Brew-Tek offers fermentation tanks, serving tanks, kegs, keg washers, carbonation stones, grist mills and more.
