Celebrate Black Friday the right way — drinking an Imperial Stout at Lakefront Brewery

Regular CBB readers will know that we love a good promotion, and turning Black Friday into an annual craft beer party definitely qualifies. We turn to Milwaukee’s Lakefront Brewery, which knows not everyone wants to spend the day after Thanksgiving battling with other shoppers trying to get the hottest retail deal, which is why the brewery will once again be opening their doors early for those looking for a little holiday relief — and to get the first taste of Black Friday Imperial Stout.

And yes, just like the more traditional Black Friday destinations, fans will be lining up before the doors open at 8 a.m.

“People really love this event,” said Russ Klisch, founder and president of Lakefront Brewery. “And they look forward to purchasing our Black Friday, which they can only get this one day each year. Our Black Friday was brewed back in February, then aged in bourbon barrels for 10 months, where it picks up the vanilla and oak notes that really bring out the beer’s big chocolatey and roasted malt flavors. Our Eastside Dark, which just won the 2016 European Beer Star Gold Medal, will also be on tap. ”

WHERE: Lakefront Brewery Beer Hall, 1872 N. Commerce St. Milwaukee, WI. 53212
WHEN: Doors open at 8 a.m., but people will begin lining up the night before.
PRE-OPEN: Hot food and drinks sold in tented area from 6-10 a.m.

Tours of Lakefront Brewery will begin at 1 p.m. and the Beer Halls award-winning fish fry will be served 4-9 p.m. with Brewhaus Polka Kings providing entertainment from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
