Every year, prior to the annual Craft Brewers Conference & BrewEXPO America, we ask exhibitors to tell us what will be at their booth to preview the show. Below is one such preview. For all of our CBC coverage this year, search #CBC2016 or click this link. See you in Philly.
Traditional piping systems use foreign substances (glue, solder) or mechanical connections (gaskets, threads), and these connections eventually fail. Aquatherm polypropylene-random (PP-R) pipe systems use heat fusion — a fast, reliable process that creates seamless, leak-free connections. You’re going to want to stop and see these PP-R systems first hand at the Craft Brewers Conference (May 3-6 in Philadelphia) at booth #2013.
Aquatherm pipe systems are highly inert and don’t react with water or glycol, so they don’t corrode. And they can handle fluid temperatures ranging from -5° F to 200° F. To form a connection, the material is melted and joined together, then allowed to cool. This forms a chemically bonded joint as strong as the pipe itself. Aquatherm fusion outlets also ease system expansion because they’re added by drilling into the pipe and heat-fusing a fitting directly into the pipe wall.
Aquatherm pipe systems possess multiple code approvals (including NSF/ANSI 61 food grade) and can be used for glycol, wort, potable water, compressed air, heating and more. Plus, Aquatherm pipe systems come with an extensive 10-year, multimillion-dollar warranty.
