Wastewater treatment is getting a lot of attention these days, which is a good thing. Water is a precious resource, and brewers should do all they can to treat and take care of the H2O coming in and going out of its facility.
For some further education on the topic, the Dow Water Academy is hosting a free webcast this week (Wednesday April 13 at 1 p.m. CDT) to learn more about the identification, assessment and treatment of high Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) wastewater.

This educational presentation will expand upon the identification and treatment of High BOD wastewater streams that are common in the food, dairy, and beverage industries. As well, this webinar will introduce a new simple, low-attention bioreactor that rapidly treats high BOD wastewater streams at the source and touch on examples from the brewery industry, including a strategy for assessment and field performance data.
The Water Academy was started by Dow Water & Process Solutions to help educate (industrial) water end users and water treatment professionals by providing a series of modules that cover hot industry topics and provide more information on applications and technologies.
