19 GABF gold medal winners that rely on Birko cleaning products

Come awards time, Birko loves to point out how many craft breweries use its cleaning products to make award-winning beer. The results tend to speak for themselves. Last week, Birko, a leader in providing sanitation solutions to the craft brewing industry, announced that many of its customers were recognized at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival.

“Birko customers took home almost 25 percent of the gold, silver and bronze medals at the 2014 GABF competition,” said Dana Johnson, Birko’s brewery specialist. “Our customers know that Birko’s cleaning and sanitation products help them make a better beer — batch after batch. We’ve consistently earned the reputation of solving our customers’ toughest brewery problems.”

Birko customers Draught Works Brewery, Missoula, Mont., and Marble Brewery, Albuquerque, N.M., won special honors in their respective categories. Draught Works was recognized for “Very Small Brewing Company” and “Very Small Brewing Company Brewer of the Year.” Marble Brewery was named “Small Brewing Company” and “Small Brewing Company Brewer of the Year.”
