The traditional Bavarian brewery known as Brauhaus Faust in Miltenberg, Germany, recently awarded a contract for an extensive brewhouse modernization to Ziemann International GmbH, Ludwigsburg. The brewhouse will be equipped with a Shark wort boiling system, a lauter tun with Lotus technology and a mash filter with a Colibri agitator. In addition, Faust decided in favor of a Diamond stripper, which works on the principle of a continuous dynamic coolship.
“The fact that the proven, traditional brewing processes can be transferred one-to-one with these innovations was the main reason for Faust’s decision in favor of Ziemann,” said Klaus Gehrig, managing director of Ziemann. “Moreover, the future brewing processes will be more gentle and the resource consumption can be reduced in a sustainable way. We are very proud to have been awarded another contract in the growing segment of craft breweries.”
The brewhouse project in Miltenberg will be implemented at the beginning of 2015.
From the brewhouse to the bright beer tank cellar, Ziemann offers tailor-made solutions for small craft breweries as well as for large-scale breweries. The product range in the brewhouse covers the malt intake, mills, mashing vessels, lauter tuns, mash filters, wort kettles and the whirlpool up to the wort cooling. For the cold block area, Ziemann offers fermentation and storage tanks, bright beer tanks, yeast and water tanks as well as the required process technology.
