Chouffe Fest free ticket giveaway

The Craft Brewing Business crew is doing it again! We’re giving away free tickets to Chouffe Fest events in New York City, on June 19, and Washington, D.C., on June 21.

The fine folks at Chouffe Fest have given us a pair of tickets to the upcoming events to give away to our readers. Chouffe Fest NYC will take place Thursday, June 19 from 7-11 p.m. at Brooklyn Night Bazaar located at 165 Banker Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222. (Tickets are on sale for $10 each.) Chouffe Fest D.C. will take place Saturday, June 21 from 7-11 p.m. at TOOLBOX D.C., a truly special and unique studio offering a rare combination of evocative art and architectural beauty located in Dupont Circle at 1627 (rear) Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20009. How to win free tickets

First, you must be 21 or older. Second, send an email to — [email protected] — and provide your first and last name, your city of choice (NYC or Washington, D.C.), primary e-mail address and your favorite beer style to brew. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. EDT on June 13, 2014. Only one entry per person. There will be one winner chosen for each city who will receive a pair of tickets.

But what is Chouffe Fest? It’s a one-night beer fest sweeping the nation, produced by Los Angeles-based creative agency Bagavagabonds. Chouffe Fest was designed to celebrate Chouffe’s Belgian craft beers, which rumor has it, were hand-crafted by magical gnomes and passed in secret to Chouffe’s founders in the 1970s. Inspired by this mystical tale, Chouffe Fest invites guests to step into the imaginary world of the Chouffe gnomes, which includes an 8-foot-tall “gnome throne” photo booth and giant, playable versions of checkers, Jenga and Connect Four. Chouffe Fest is artistically curated by Bagavagabonds from top to bottom and will feature custom stop-start animation loops in each city based on local landmarks. Guests can take home on-site screen-printed posters, create and send custom letter-pressed postcards or have their “gnome-i-fied” portrait hand-drawn by an on-site caricature artist. Each event will also feature a special musical act, DJ and, of course, complimentary food to pair with delicious Chouffe Belgian craft beers.
