Gusmer Enterprises Inc. announced several new products that will be featured at the Craft Brewers Conference – Booth No. 1420. Products include Gusmer’s KICK Carrageenan, Pacific Ozone generators, EMD Millipore SpectroQuant and more.
KICK Carrageenan is purified kappa carrageenan, a high molecular weight polysaccharide derived from red seaweed. When added near the end of the boil, KICK Carrageenan binds to haze-forming proteins and other small particles and flocculates rapidly promoting an improved “hot-break” in the whirlpool vessel and improved “cold-break” during fermentation/ageing. KICK Carrageenan is available in three different formats: Tablets; Granular; and Micro-Tablets.
The PC Series of portable ozone generator carts from Pacific Ozone are known for their controlled application of ozone solution for sanitation. The PC Series is ideal for barrel washing, tank sanitization, surface disinfection and clean-in-place (CIP) of tanks and piping.
The SpectroQuant line is the first turn-key solution, featuring a brewing specific spectrophotometer and software package. Results are given in brewing relevant units with no conversions or calculations needed. Corresponding chemicals and reagents from EMD Millipore offers the most consistent and highest quality test materials from a single source.
