Attention Connecticut breweries and brewing enthusiasts, mark your calendars for June 21, from 4 to 8 p.m., as Ski Sundown will host the eighth annual Connecticut Brewers Guild Brewfest.
This summer’s tasting experience will include over 35 of the “who’s who” in micro breweries and brewpubs from Connecticut and beyond. Flyin’ Blind will provide musical entertainment and a selection of grill foods and snacks by The Meat House of Avon will be available for purchase.
“We are always excited about doing events at Ski Sundown. Not only is it one of the best brewfests of the year, but its picturesque location is second to none and makes for a great day,” said Curt Cameron, president of the Connecticut Brewers Guild.
“The Brewers Guild Brewfest at Ski Sundown offers a great opportunity to sample a variety of local beers and a chance to meet some of the folks who lovingly craft them. Last year’s fests were a great time for all, and we’re eager to be there again this year and talk with the state’s craft beer enthusiasts at the CT Beer Trail table,” said Bryon Turner, Founder of the CT Beer Trail.
Be sure to also save the date for the Fall Brewfest at Ski Sundown, which will be held on Sept. 20 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Tickets may be purchased online at skisundown.com for $25 in advance and $30 at the door. You must be 21 or older to attend and a photo I.D. is required. Designated driver tickets are available for $20. The event will be held rain or shine and ample, free parking is available. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Connecticut Brewer’s Guild, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the craft beer industry in Connecticut.
